You Can Play a video game based on Twin Peaks with this Free Demo

The 90s were a huge time for video games like Final Fantasy 7 and Silent Hill and TV shows like Power Rangers and The X-Files. And nowadays, some independent video game developers, or indie devs, are seeking to capture the visual charm of video games from that era, specifically the first PlayStation, and apply it to their own content.

Many game devs are also “demaking” modern games to have that edgy, polygonal look as well. To name a couple examples, both are free to play, there’s a PS1 demake of Dead Space and a PS1 demake of Bloodborne.

But what about TV shows? Well if you happen to love David Lynch and are feeling nostalgic for exploring and managing inventory like in Resident Evil, then have I got a demake for you, if you can believe it. Enter Twin Peaks: Into the Night, a PS1 style adaptation of the iconic TV series which you can play right now for free.

If you’re still reading, I’ll give you a little peak of a few highlights that were awesome and exciting to me as a Twin Peaks fan. However, if you want to go play the demo for yourself, beware the spoilers below!
