My Trans Journal: Some People Just Won’t Listen.
<p>I wrote a story yesterday based on somebody else’s very ignorant uneducated story on their not being able to understand anything about how there can be a gender identity and a sex incongruence. I thought this might be a good learning opportunity. A time for trans people to educate someone. But then I deleted the story. This person had already made up their mind based on right-wing misinformation and an all around inability to understand how hormones work.</p>
<p>It’s not our problem. I directed them to seek out a professional for answers at that point. I don’t have all the answers as to why trans people happen! I can’t explain the topic as good as a sexologist or a gender therapist can.</p>
