Torontonians Finding They Lack the Necessary Engagement To Engage With 2023 Vital Signs Report On Toronto Engagement
<p>Citing waning interest in civic engagement, most Torontonians acknowledge that they are having difficulty civically engaging with this year’s Vital Signs Report on civic engagement.</p>
<p>“I would love to learn more about the subject and how to foster greater connection and engagement within my city,” states John Balfor, 32, a downtown-Toronto resident who despite working three jobs has had to let go of any hope of ever owning a home, starting a family, or civically engaging in a meaningful way with his city and community. “I just don’t have the time, mental energy or level of engagement to be meaningfully engaged with this latest report on engagement.”</p>
