Torontonians Finding They Lack the Necessary Engagement To Engage With 2023 Vital Signs Report On Toronto Engagement

Citing waning interest in civic engagement, most Torontonians acknowledge that they are having difficulty civically engaging with this year’s Vital Signs Report on civic engagement.

“I would love to learn more about the subject and how to foster greater connection and engagement within my city,” states John Balfor, 32, a downtown-Toronto resident who despite working three jobs has had to let go of any hope of ever owning a home, starting a family, or civically engaging in a meaningful way with his city and community. “I just don’t have the time, mental energy or level of engagement to be meaningfully engaged with this latest report on engagement.”
