TMBG Randomizer #379: Road Movie to Berlin (Dial-A-Song)

It’s no secret that TMBG’s third album Flood was received well upon it’s release, what with it being Their most popular. And while it’s safe to say that every song on the album is popular, there are a few that people sometimes overlook. One of these is “Road Movie To Berlin”, the album’s solemn closer.

…But that’s not why we’re here today. Instead, we’ll take a brief listen to the Dial-A-Song recording for “Road Movie”; shorter and synth-heavy, this rendition of the song still holds up. It’s not the cleanest recording, but the music is pretty nice to listen to despite that.

Moments of Interest: This song pretty much consists of Flans and his guitar up until the solo in the middle. The chords are pretty much the same as the final rendition’s, but the sole guitar makes it sound much more sincere than even that. There’s just something about a lone acoustic guitar that really gets to me.
