The Story of Tim and Linda.

I showed the ad to the kids who were then aged 16, 15 and 12. Two out of 3 were pretty excited, 1 was holding back in case of disappointment. I then showed the husband and he said ‘ring them up’. So, I emailed the people. They said they had a lot of interest in the dog but we arranged to go out to Somerville to see him — a 40 minute drive away in a couple of days. My eldest and youngest came with me.

There he was. We were enthralled with his gentle handsomeness and his happy face. The people’s backyard was pretty much a moonscape from his digging. Before we left to see him, I am pretty sure my husband said — ‘Make sure he’s not a digger!” ha ha The reason they were looking to rehome him apparently is because their circumstances had changed — renting, moving, new job, no time, had two young children and he was boisterous.
