Tikkunei Zohar English Translation & Basic Commentary — Tikkun 7

<p>In the beginning, God feared shame, and woe to Samael when the Holy One, blessed be He, will come to redeem the Shekhinah and Israel from this woe. He will demand from him and from the seventy nations and their appointees who tormented Israel in exile. Because before Israel went into exile, the Holy One, blessed be He, revealed to Samael that Israel was destined to be under his domination (some say to be redeemed from his domination), and he took hold of him and the seventy appointees under his hand.
