The Need for Speed.#5WFs(125th)

1. What I’m inspired by: The level of administrative excellence I have encountered, as observed in a culture of documentation and codification of proven, yet evolving methods. I am particularly moved at how a commitment to this hard-work; laying the foundation for an effective system and making consistent marginal improvements, can lead to huge returns in terms of better quality of life, higher productivity, and long-term sustainability.

2. What I’m reading: A report comparing societies where men shirk domestic chores with those that are shaped by family-friendly policies, and the impact on gender equality. Read “…real men share the housework” here: https://bit.ly/3RzLhgH

3. What I’m excited about: The possibilities that come with communities. I am a firm believer that to reap the fruits of relationships, you have to get your roots down in communities. Nature teaches us that they both go hand in hand. I will be signing up for a few of such communities and can’t wait to see the outcomes.

4. What I did: Confronted tons of instructions, directions, introductions…the sheer amount of information my mind has taken in this past week (and is yet to take in), makes my head spin like a carousel. How did I think the first thing I would do when I could, was finally get my hands on Min Jin Lee’s Pachinko? Still a dream.

5. What’s up: The need for speed. Not the movie (which I love), just my current reality. Over the next couple of weeks, I will be exploring different time management techniques and trying to figure out which works for what. In the meantime, please share with me how you get the most and best work done, in the shortest time possible. You could be saving a life!

Enjoy!
