The main problem I face as a software developer

They just don’t wanna pay for changes and add-ons!

What can I say? Without sounding like an angry dude.

When people go to supermarkets, they know the rule. They take 10 items, they pay for 10 items. They want a 11th item, well, they pay for it. Duh, right?

Not so, it seems, in software development or in IT field in general. I’ve been in web development and mobile app development and now in software development. I run a company, Getcha Solutions, through which I provide these services.

So, when they describe their requirements, and I give them the quote, things are fine. Maybe they’ll negotiate, fine. Maybe they’ll walk away, fine. Maybe they’ll accept my quote and we progressed onwards to a confirmed project (I love such days!). Great!

All will go well and fine. I’ll start development work, and update them periodically. They are happy. And I’m happy. Life goes on blissfully.
