Short staffing is a result of terrible management

As a blind customer, I walked into the King Soopers yesterday, located at at 1725 Sheridan boulevard, Edgewater, Colorado 80214, at around approximately 7:00 a.m. I have shopped at this King Soopers store on a number of occasions. Usually, I am able to get someone to help me, however this time was different. I also had my 8 month old son with me. So as you can imagine, in order for me to go to the store, I had to pack up a diaper bag for my son, get him into the car seat, book the Uber, put the car seat into the Uber, fold up the stroller, etc. Before embarking on the trip to the store. Then, I had to take the car seat out of the Uber, unfold the stroller, put the car seat back into the stroller, then walk into the store. I go through all of this withering detail to illustrate. How frustrated I became when I asked for assistance shopping, only to be told indirectly by an employee who was a few feet from me that they didn’t have anyone who could help. I booked an Uber and then left. I filed a complaint with corporate by email, and I also called the store manager at 625 a.m. this morning, who claimed that they should have helped, but used the excuse of short staffing to justify what happened.

Website
