Kicking Trump Off the Ballot Is A Terrible Idea
<p>If you missed the news, the Colorado Supreme Court <a href="https://apnews.com/article/trump-insurrection-14th-amendment-2024-colorado-d16dd8f354eeaf450558378c65fd79a2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">removed Donald Trump from the GOP presidential primary ballot</a> on the grounds that, “[a] majority of the court holds that Trump is disqualified from holding the office of president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.” (That’s the one saying that people who start insurrections against the US government can’t hold federal office.)</p>
<p>That was a stupid move. I hope the Supreme Court overturns it and lets Trump run in Colorado (and all the other states that are trying to disqualify him).</p>
