<p>The Russian ruler Ivan the Terrible was the first Tsar of Russia. He is a very important figure in Russian history. Ivan is credited for the modern geographic presence of Russia. He was the one who occupied and incorporated most of Siberia into Russia.</p>
<p>Ivan became the ruler of Russia at age of three because of his father’s death. He was brought up by Russian nobility who throughout his childhood used his power to their own benefit. For this reason, Ivan held a grudge against the Russian nobility and aristocracy and was sure they were against his rule.</p>
