Properties of temperament

As I wrote earlier, temperament is a system of individual, i.e. genetically predetermined human properties. Therefore, below let’s figure out what properties our temperament has.

Sensitivity — this property is responsible for the sensitivity of the psyche. It determines what is the smallest force of external influence necessary for a person to have any reaction, and what is the speed of this reaction. The lower the strength of the external influence to which the psyche responds, the higher the sensitivity index is considered, and vice versa.

Reactivity — this property is manifested in the strength with which a person reacts to a particular stimulus. You’ve probably noticed that different people can react differently to the same event. For example, in response to criticism, someone loses their temper, while others remain completely indifferent. The reason for this lies in different levels of reactivity.
