“Taali” — The game Changer

I recently watched “Taali” — a beautiful series with a powerful message, graced by the ever-stunning Sushmita Sen. To not write a blog in support of her performance and the film’s cause would feel like a true injustice. In recent years, the term “transgender” has gained increasing recognition, but it also continues to spark diverse understandings. The most common definition describes — “someone whose gender identity differs from the sex assigned at birth”. But within distinct cultures, castes, and religions, unique perspectives on this identity may exist.
