Straight People Are Getting Murdered Because Of Homophobia
<p>One year, for pride month, I bought a bunch of pride stickers. I wanted to find a way to celebrate being bisexual, but I never leave the house (because I’m a disabled writer.) So I decided the best way to achieve this would be to wear a pride sticker every day.</p>
<p>My stickers came in a variety pack. They had so many cute puns on them. There were ally stickers, too.</p>
<p>My husband’s eyes lit up when he saw the ally stickers. “I want to wear those when I go out in public.”</p>
<p>He seemed really excited about it.</p>
<p>My heart froze and my mouth went dry. “Why?”</p>
<p>I hadn’t considered this possibility.</p>
<p>He gazed at me adoringly and said, “I want everyone to know how proud I am to have a bisexual wife.”</p>
<p>Every word out of his mouth pained me.</p>
<p>I snatched the stickers and put them under something to hide them from him. “You can’t.”</p>
<p>I had to protect him.</p>
<p>His expression turned confused and upset. “Why are you being like this?”</p>
