Why ‘free’ is the new status symbol — and a revolution

<p>Conveying the value of &lsquo;free&rsquo; in a world that&rsquo;s been conditioned to believe that if something is expensive, it must be good &mdash; is harder than you think. But in the current climate of division and disconnection, &lsquo;free&rsquo; is the status symbol and revolution that we need. So we made all our events free entry to start building the movement toward equality and accessibility &mdash; and fan the flames of a more balanced society where the focus is on meeting needs rather than generating profit. We also believe in experiencing the proof in our pudding, instead of filling up inboxes with yet another lengthy pitch and powerpoint presentation.
