The Soul and Kabbalah — The Zohar & The Evolution of the Soul
<p>The Zohar is a central work in the field of Jewish mysticism known as Kabbalah. Kabbalah is, in essence, a distillation of the spiritual principles at the heart of the Torah, the first five books of what Christians call the Old Testament. This contains the Books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy and Numbers. As a discipline, it is built upon an assumption that the Torah contains layers of meaning and that by exegesis, study, discipline, meditation and virtuous living, these layers of meaning are revealed to the student.</p>
