Sorry Streamlit fans — You can’t use it to build a SAAS
<p><em>I would like to note that I’m a huge fan of Streamlit and highly suggest anybody in the data industry learn this technology. It’s growing and it’s becoming better every day. In my opinion it’s not meant to build out a SAAS, it’s meant to share a data science project with friends, classmates, and colleagues.</em></p>

<h2>Streamlit is awesome</h2>
<p>If you’re familiar with Streamlit, you know it’s an awesome Python framework that allows you to throw together applications, FAST.</p>
<p>In my words, Streamlit is a web framework for data people who don’t know how to build actual websites. It’s super easy to use and very easy to use to build data projects.</p>
<p>I recently had a fun idea for a SAAS I wanted to implement. I wanted to use Streamlit and even though the application worked, there are so many features it’s missing.</p>
<h1>What I wasn’t able to do</h1>

<p>I was able to build on my SAAS to do exactly what I wanted to do. But many roadblocks came into play that made my Streamlit SAAS it a bad product.</p>
<h2>Navigating pages</h2>
<p>There are some third-party solutions, but navigating pages within the app is difficult. Customizing the navigator bar is even more difficult. Nothing seemed smooth and if you wanted to jump to another page in your app after, let’s say, someone hits submit, it was rocky as hell.</p>
