I am inspired to write this because I have had to reflect on my commitment to producing music and DJing for over 27 years now. I sat back and wondered, “Is this a good and proper way to spend my energy and talent? Should I be a doctor, a molecular biologist, a mechanical engineer? Is there a reason that I should continue creating and performing music?” I did find the answers to that question, and they are explored in the nuances of this article. Yet, on this virtual dancefloor, something magical happens.
