Could We Just… Maybe… Skip Christmas?

<p>Myson is 19. He towers over me and as I&rsquo;m looking up at him, his face is a bit crestfallen as he lets me know he won&rsquo;t be there for our traditional tree trimming.</p> <p>Every year, we put the tree up and it might sit a couple of days with only lights before we all get together and put on our motley assortment of ornaments. Some very old, some new, some funny, some irreverent, some nostalgic, some homemade, some bought from local artists and crafters.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s always a great day for me, having all of our kids together for this tradition.</p> <p>This year, I&rsquo;ve learned when to let go of that expectation.</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/age-of-empathy/could-we-just-maybe-skip-christmas-c253527467e2"><strong>Visit Now</strong></a></p>
