<p>Imagine if, before we were born, there was a court that allowed us to choose the physical traits we would inherit based on our <strong>previous lives</strong> or perhaps through a <strong>raffle system</strong>. If you had the opportunity to bid on certain traits, what would you choose? <em>Would you prioritize </em><strong><em>height</em></strong><em> above all else?</em></p>
<p>For those of us who aren’t particularly tall, it’s easy to feel <strong>insecure</strong> in various social settings. As someone who stands at 5'9" and a half with good posture, voluminous hair (thanks to a perm), I often find myself questioning my height and its impact on my life. Whether it’s at college parties, where I’m competing with <strong>taller</strong> men for women’s attention, or on the basketball court, where I struggle to secure rebounds against <strong>taller</strong> players, I’ve always wondered if I did something wrong in a previous life or if this is just some cosmic<em> joke</em>. But is height really the root of these insecurities? <em>Or are we simply too fixated on the </em><strong><em>physical attributes</em></strong><em> we can’t control?</em></p>
