<p>Imagine if, before we were born, there was a court that allowed us to choose the physical traits we would inherit based on our&nbsp;<strong>previous lives</strong>&nbsp;or perhaps through a&nbsp;<strong>raffle system</strong>. If you had the opportunity to bid on certain traits, what would you choose?&nbsp;<em>Would you prioritize&nbsp;</em><strong><em>height</em></strong><em>&nbsp;above all else?</em></p> <p>For those of us who aren&rsquo;t particularly tall, it&rsquo;s easy to feel&nbsp;<strong>insecure</strong>&nbsp;in various social settings. As someone who stands at 5&#39;9&quot; and a half with good posture, voluminous hair (thanks to a perm), I often find myself questioning my height and its impact on my life. Whether it&rsquo;s at college parties, where I&rsquo;m competing with&nbsp;<strong>taller</strong>&nbsp;men for women&rsquo;s attention, or on the basketball court, where I struggle to secure rebounds against&nbsp;<strong>taller</strong>&nbsp;players, I&rsquo;ve always wondered if I did something wrong in a previous life or if this is just some cosmic<em>&nbsp;joke</em>.
