A string of recent lawsuits accuse New York catering companies of adding a 20&ndash;30 percent &ldquo;service charge&rdquo; onto a bill, only to keep some or all of the fee, instead of distributing it to service employees.</p> <p>From November 2014 to May 2015, Dickson Fernandez worked approximately 20 catered events at India House, an elite members-only club near Wall Street.
