Scientists: How The Illusion Of Self Is Formed

When a young person comes to me and tells me all about their ambitions for their life, which include of course becoming successful, making a lot of money and finally living in the house of their dreams with the one they love, I remind them, “The house of your dreams has a lot of toilets.”

I mean, it’s even in the real estate advertising for the house of your dreams — five bedrooms, five bathrooms!

That means at least five toilets. Five places where people will be pooping. It’s ironic, the two things we humans are most ashamed about — sex and pooping — are right there in the ad for the house of dreams. In fact, the house of dreams has NOTHING ELSE, according to the ad. There are just the sex rooms and the pooping places.
