Why Christianity is More Malleable to Modernity and Secular Liberalism Than Islam
<p>In response to a remark I made in the concluding part of a post I made on Facebook – specifically where I had written about the fact that various religions seem to be able to rebrand themselves in order to be more in line with modernity and secular liberalism, a Facebook friend asked for my thoughts on Islam, in light of that very sociological observation, so here is what I think:</p>
<p>I do see obvious differences between Christianity and Islam which makes Christianity more susceptible to the kind of sociological adaptation I alluded to, and I think there are several factors (or a combination of factors) that are responsible for that:</p>
