Chasing a Pigeon on Rue Cler
<p><a href="https://www.ricksteves.com/watch-read-listen/read/articles/rue-cler-paris-market-101" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Rick Steves has a “thing” for rue Cler</a>, in Paris’s 7th arrondissement. It is a shopping street — well, more of a market street. Lots of food stalls, cafés, specialty shops, as well as random pop-up store-like stacks of plastic storage boxes, laundry racks, and other things householders might need. It is also a pedestrian street, except for the delivery trucks and carts. It is truly charming — I can see why the #1 North American guide to the glories of Europe recommends it.</p>
<p>So, many years ago, on one of my two-week journeys to Paris, I took my camera to the rue Cler.</p>
