First, I apologize for this article being titled “Retirement Chronicles: Interviews With 2 Homeless Retirees.” The number should be “4.” I had two people bail out on me last week at the final minute before posting. I tried all week to find 2 more people to replace those two in my interviews. But that search was fruitless. The good news is that I can contribute more to each interviewee instead of cutting out about half of what I usually do.
The criteria was that you were retired, had a retirement income at one time, and were homeless. It was challenging to find people who met that criteria. In fact, I doubt I’ll be able to do this type of article again with homeless retirees.
