Retirement Life: Kindness Comes In All Colors And Ages

<p>I made a comment on a magnificent story by&nbsp;<a href="https://medium.com/@darrinatkins" rel="noopener">Darrin Atkins</a>&nbsp;(<a href="https://medium.com/@darrinatkins/may-the-train-of-kindness-stop-at-your-station-this-year-436e19fd1d1b" rel="noopener">May the Train of Kindness Stop at Your Station This Year</a>) that made me think of this story a few days before Christmas. Kindness shouldn&#39;t just be shown during Christmas. It should be displayed year-round. I learned that lesson from a little angel in the story below. I hope you enjoy it.</p> <p>As a retiree, I face a multitude of obstacles in life. I discussed&nbsp;<a href="https://medium.com/@bamaman92/retirement-life-sometimes-im-alone-in-a-desert-0261811da1b9" rel="noopener">my accident where I fell down and cracked my knee cap.</a>&nbsp;After initially getting better, I have had setbacks over the past couple of weeks. I have to have fluid drained from the knee twice a week. It is very painful. It is very depressing, to say the least. I&rsquo;ve had several MRIs and CAT scans.
