Retirement Life: Kindness Comes In All Colors And Ages

I made a comment on a magnificent story by Darrin Atkins (May the Train of Kindness Stop at Your Station This Year) that made me think of this story a few days before Christmas. Kindness shouldn't just be shown during Christmas. It should be displayed year-round. I learned that lesson from a little angel in the story below. I hope you enjoy it.

As a retiree, I face a multitude of obstacles in life. I discussed my accident where I fell down and cracked my knee cap. After initially getting better, I have had setbacks over the past couple of weeks. I have to have fluid drained from the knee twice a week. It is very painful. It is very depressing, to say the least. I’ve had several MRIs and CAT scans. Nothing is showing up to indicate what is causing the fluid buildup or the swelling I continue to experience.
