The Problem with Sex Trade Expansionary Feminism, A Response to Kate

<p>As women, it is not easy to publicly share our stories of surviving male violence. Even though male violence penetrates our existence &mdash; and has throughout history as women&rsquo;s exploitation is the oldest oppression &mdash; rape culture blames us for being victimized, silences us for being survivors, and gaslights us for telling the truth of what happened to us. Your story is harrowing and the only consolation I have from reading it is that I am grateful you survived and are alive today to have this discussion and to continue organizing and resisting. We might disagree on some points, but in the end of the day if I were with you in those situations I would gladly put my body on the line to defend you.
