<p>I don’t call them “New Year’s Resolutions”, which could doom my goals and desires from ever being accomplished. Research shows 9% of Americans who make resolutions complete them. The research says that 23% of people quit their resolution by the end of the first week, and 43% quit by the end of January.</p>
<p>The four main reasons are: the goals aren’t clear, feeling overwhelmed, get discouraged, or not ready for change.</p>
<p>I make goals for the year, but I don’t call them “resolutions”. Then I put them on a card on my altar and chant about them daily. I generally accomplish what I set out to do, with some exceptions.</p>
