Reflecting on Representing India’s AI Journey
<p>Just a few years ago, our nation was seen as a back-office for Western tech breakthroughs. But today India is recognized as a hub of AI innovation in its own right.</p>
<p>It was an honour to <a href="https://stories.riafy.me/floods-pandemics-and-beyond-how-riafy-uses-ai-for-social-good-a23b22651d2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">represent this progress</a> on the world stage among esteemed researchers and developers from across the globe. Our approaches to <a href="https://stories.riafy.me/ai-and-humanity-developing-responsibly-972df556c1c2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">mitigating bias</a>, <a href="https://stories.riafy.me/ai-and-humanity-handling-data-thoughtfully-d6d449ec42c" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">increasing transparency</a>, and <a href="https://stories.riafy.me/ai-and-humanity-democratizing-access-b6b36b9f82cd" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">democratizing access</a> were discussed with key stakeholders.</p>
<p>Our cultural diversity, tech talent, and appetite for solutions that uplift humanity make India an ideal springboard for AI developed conscientiously. We discussed how Riafy used AI in <a href="https://stories.riafy.me/kerala-floods-how-startup-technology-helped-save-thousands-of-lives-7019f79ee81a" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">rescue missions during the Kerala floods</a> and in providing swift and dignified care to COVID-19 patients.</p>
