Re-Inventing Democracy with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)

The governance of nations around the world by lawmakers and legislative bodies that do not represent “all (or nearly all) adult citizens” lends support to the premise that such governments must be fundamentally transformed — in fact, re-invented. Why? Because lawmakers in governments and legislative bodies representing a minority of the people typically enact laws favoring a minority of the population, laws that all too often fail to meet the needs of the population at large. They generate inequality, increase disparities in wealth and income, and undermine the legitimacy of the government as a whole.
