Redesigning Seasonal Quartet’s Book Cover

The objective of this project was to redesign the covers of three books from a series that we could find in a bookstore. I used contrasting colors to add a contemporary touch and emphasize key elements on the covers, such as the title and the author’s name. Additionally, I selected photographs of people’s faces to reflect the importance of human stories in the books, connecting with the diversity of characters and narratives in Ali Smith’s works. Furthermore, the faces of the people in the photographs are depicted with the ripped hole.
