Design Thinking Case Study: Navigating the Digital Maze of Public Transport
<p>My first step was to interview at least five people about their habits, essential conducting UX research with the goal of finding out what their main pain points were. The very first thing that I did was come up with an interview guide covering participants’ experience with public transport and travel apps, and to gage their habits. While each participant was allotted around 30 minutes, I quickly found after my first interview that we needed far less time.</p>
<p>I then selected five people around me who I thought would be good participants. I tried to select a range of ages and experiences. As I was conducting my research during the holiday season, it was a bit more difficult to get a hold of people! And I was adamant that I wanted to do my interviews in person as that yields better research (for example, you can ask targeted follow-up questions).</p>
