I Was A Prom Slut
<p>My well-intentioned mother persuaded me not to reject any invitation to a prom. She thought it would be too traumatizing for a girl to get turned down for a prom date. The result was that I attended seven proms and not my own senior prom. My prom experiences spanned three years and crossed four high schools.</p>
<p>Overall, my mom knocked it out of the park in parenting, this one was questionable though. I highly doubt my sister would have been encouraged to go to seven proms. In her defense, I don’t think I would have had her patience to put up with a teenage me. I could be an irrational moody little asshole, like most teenagers.</p>
