<p>I listened to a Twitter space on my way home from the gym. They talked about how Black girls shouldn’t be insecure about making more money than their spouses.</p>

<p>I need to get this out of my system.</p>
<p>I’ve seen this all over Twitter (X), particularly in Black spaces. There’s always been this huge pushback whenever Black women say or choose to only date/marry richer men.</p>
<p>I remember when female rapper, Saweetie, talked about wanting men with lots of money.</p>
