Visiting Pompeii

Last week, I stayed in Naples with my wife, with the main purpose being to visit Pompeii. We visited Italy last year, and stayed on the Amalfi coast. During this visit, we had hoped to visit Pompeii, but we couldn’t make it happen, so we returned this year. This is my head dump which will hopefully give someone a few pointers to research their trip to Pompeii and Naples. We flew into Naples airport. From there we took the airport bus which takes about half an hour and stops at the Central Station (where we got off) and then onto the port. The Central Station is at one end of the huge Piazza Guisseppe Garibaldi. Unfortunately this area has become haven for rough sleepers, and street hawkers. During the hours of day, it feels reasonably safe, which we good as we transited this regularly between our apartment and the train stations. <a href="https://medium.com/@erichewett/visiting-pompeii-f20d4d85d064">Click Here</a>
