It’s a Privilege to Be This Tired

I don’t mean I need to go to bed (although I do). I mean I’m upset, mad, sad, scared, worried, and some more adjectives that I can’t quite put my finger on. I couldn’t sleep last night because this country exhausts me. Our politicians exhaust me. Apathetic, uninvolved, and ignorant people exhaust me. People on the wrong side of things exhaust me. I watched a video of a boy sobbing in his mom’s car because he heard there was a gun threat at his school. I read a tweet from Marjorie Taylor Greene DEFENDING the man who leaked classified documents. I listened to a man imply that we need to ban abortion so that there will be more white people.
