<p>It’s amazing what has happened since Election Day 2020 — it feels like an epoch of time ago. When Joe Biden was President-Elect, after a nail-biter election, there was an air of clarity and sobriety that the nation faced. After barely surviving four years of Trump, a collective breath of relief descended over the country as if, finally, sanity and hope were restored. There was a near certainty, so it felt, that the we learned our lesson on putting Trump in office — it was an anomaly; we’ll never do it again.</p>
