Political victory is not the same thing as being correct

<p>It has become an all too common occurrence. Congress or the Supreme Court comes down with a ruling we agree with, and we begin to treat that decision as proof that we were correct in our opinions.</p> <p>But it&rsquo;s not.</p> <p>History has shown us repeatedly that agreement is not a requirement of correctness. Just because a majority of people agree on something does not make that thing correct. The same can be said about the opinions of scientists, doctors, and lawyers.
