Al Fathanah: A Bridge-side Dreamer’s Journey to Play in Barcelona
<p>Overflowing with gratitude, Muhammad Al Fathanah beams with pride when asked about his experience playing soccer in Barcelona. Only two years ago, he was playing the sport on the bridges of his hometown. But his love for soccer has taken him on a journey across continents, with the eagle emblem on his chest.</p>
<p>“I always dreamt of playing soccer abroad, to make my parents and country proud,” says the young man, who is a member of the NYXS Dream Team 2022.</p>
<p>This is Al Fathanah’s story. One of the U-12 soccer players in the NYXS Dream Team 2022, representing Indonesia in the 2022 TicTac Cup World Championship held in Barcelona, Spain.</p>
