Thoughts on The Piano Teacher (2001)
<p>Readers, let me ask you a question: What image comes to mind after reading the previous statement? The general consensus would have the predatory male as the former character, and the naive female as the latter. But what would happen if we switched gender roles instead? Michael Haneke’s film titled <em>The Piano Teacher</em>, which stems from the novel written by Elfriede Jelinek under the same name, allows us to explore this possibility.</p>
