The White Light Phenomenon

The cosmos has always piqued my curiosity; the infinite expanse of the universe invoked a big fat question mark in my head. In the fall of 2017, I stumbled upon an article in the NY Post about a meteor shower set to grace the night sky on August 12. The prospect of experiencing this cosmic event for the first time in my life filled me with exhilaration. On that particular day, while walking back from work, my mind raced to make the upcoming meteor shower an unforgettable experience. As night fell and the clock neared 11 pm, I took matters into my own hands.
