Never Leave a Pet Behind

When we start packing the motorhome, both the dogs get excited. They know an adventure is in their future. However, what always surprises me is how their behaviors differ. Cisco, our 18 month old pup bounces uncontrollably. He hovers near the door as we carry out load after load. Waiting not so patiently while attempting to transport himself to the RV without anyone intervening. I have wondered if he was an escape artist in a past life because he can slither through the smallest crevice. It was a constant worry he would either get caught in the door or hit by a passing car. It didn’t take long for us to learn it was easier and safer to put him in the motorhome when we pack because once he is there, he never exits voluntarily.
