The myth of the viable third party candidate

<p>No third party candidate for US President has&nbsp;<strong><em>ever</em></strong>&nbsp;won.&nbsp;<strong><em>Ever</em></strong>!</p> <p>Since its inception, the U.S. political system has been largely dominated by a two-party system. However, third-party candidates have occasionally emerged, challenging the status quo and influencing election outcomes.</p> <p>At best, third party campaigns serve as vanity projects for those involved.
