Announcing The Online Comedy: Inferno

Greetings, dear readers.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of The Online Comedy: Inferno, an enthralling artistic project set to launch on October 1st. Inferno embarks on a satirical pilgrimage through the digital abyss — a twisted reflection of Dante Alighieri’s “The Divine Comedy,” infused with a contemporary twist.

At the heart of Inferno lies Anon, our enigmatic guide and the embodiment of online anonymity, leading us through a Hell that is distinctly digital. With every step, Anon peels back layers of the virtual inferno, revealing the idiosyncrasies and absurdities of our interconnected lives.

Released as a series of 139 images and poems, the visuals within Inferno are a product of a unique collaboration with Midjourney AI — a name ironically not derived from Dante’s nel mezzo, but rather hinting at its infantile state, poised at the midpoint between humanity’s existence and the impending singularity. This project unfolds as a dialogue between creator and creation, embracing intentional imperfections and a temporality that teeters on the edge.
