Yafo — One of the Oldest Ports in the World
<p>It is a fact that it was first established in 1500 BCE, and legend suggests it was founded by the son of Noah. That may sound shocking, but in the Holy Land, you often discover sites that are thousands of years old.</p>
<p><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaffa#Etymology" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Yafo, Yafa, Jaffa</a>, are all names for the same place. Yafa or Yafo are the city’s Arabic names, Jaffa is the Hebrew name and the metropolitan city is actually called Tel Aviv-Yafo.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.britannica.com/place/Tel-Aviv-Yafo" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Tel Aviv was only established in 1909</a> as a suburb of Yafo but it soon became a hub for big business which caused it to boom.</p>
