En Frecuencia had previously heard that the station was being leased by a group out of Toluca, which didn’t seem to track until now. La Nueva Radio will do battle with the three high-power grupera stations in the capital — Ke Buena, La Mejor, and La Z. It may take time to see if it has any chance of being successful in this format, where its challenged signal may prove more of a hindrance at reaching outlying areas of the metro.
