<p>She woke up early in the morning, got dressed, ate her breakfast &mdash; a bowl of overnight porridge she had prepared the night before &mdash; and headed to the bus stop across the street. She was eager to get on the bus; she didn&rsquo;t want to be late, not on her first day.</p> <p>She wanted to impress and show she deserved to be here. After all, not every student was given an opportunity like this.</p> <p>She had just been accepted as an intern at the National Gallery and couldn&rsquo;t believe her luck. She was going to learn so much.</p> <p>Professor DeVille was to supervise her internship. One could not dream of a better mentor to master pre-Renaissance Art History. His family had been involved in the Gallery since its creation.
