Modesty Culture is More Harmful than Porn

There is no doubt about how harmful porn is to society. There are many studies on the negative effects of porn on the objectification of women, increase of sexual violence towards women as well as victim blaming, increase of pedophilia, and strengthening of misogynistic beliefs and myths including the harmful myth that women secretly want to be coerced into sex, and even enabling the human trafficking mafia. Moreover, you most probably have heard about how porn rewires men’s brains through habituation to have certain sexual desires and expectations or have more objectified and strange sexual stimuli.
