Mindfulness of Feelings

<p>In Buddhism, feelings (vedana) are not so much about emotions &mdash; but more about the feeling tone of pain or pleasure that accompanies a sensation.</p> <p>One can be aware of three different feelings: pleasant, neutral, or painful.</p> <p>Something interesting about neutral feelings: is a neutral feeling after a painful feeling feels pleasant, and a neutral feeling after a pleasant feeling feels painful.</p> <p>Imagine there&rsquo;s a scale where feelings are more pleasurable as they go up the scale and more painful as they go down.
