A $1.9 Million Win For Black Culture

If you keep up with the news, you might remember a case from a woman called Brittney Gilliam back in 2021. According to the case she filed, a police officer searched her and her family at gunpoint. They had no apparent reason to do so. Her statements said that the officer thought she stole the care she was riding in.

If you haven’t heard about the news yet, I’d definitely recommend you check out the video footage that was released.

Now, it gets worse. This black lady wasn’t the only one in the car. You see, she also had “underage family members” with her. Which means there were children in that car, and they had to witness Brittney getting searched, at gunpoint, and unfairly accused (of something she was not guilty of), in front of them.
